In the first instance please call us to discuss the problem – the initial chat is free and often we can solve the issue straight away. Should you need further help we can investigate the issue remotely via ‘TeamViewer’ where we connect to your computer and we can see the issue as you talk us through it. Most issues can be solved this way. If there’s still no joy or your unit is not responsive we can either pick up the unit to work on off-site or arrange to visit you to work on your machine ‘in situ’.

Whenever you first encounter a problem always do a few checks and tests to see if the problem is a simple setting that needs changing or something you forgot to turn on or off. Try retracing your steps to see if it’s something you’ve changed recently. If the problem persists, sometimes a traditional ‘switch it off then back on again’ is all you need to do.

Once you’ve established you have an issue, the first place to look is a search engine.. it’s amazing how much information there is already available and often someone has encountered the same issues as you before.

We suggest using DuckDuckGo for non tracked results or good old Google for a comprehensive list of results. Simply put in your problem including the software or hardware name followed by a brief description of symptoms. As you discover new articles and more information, refine your search accordingly.

Another approach to problem solving your IT issues is to directly approach the relevant support page for the hardware or software. Whilst these sites often do have solutions, be prepared to bury down into a multitude of sites before you find your solution. Some useful support page links are listed below.

Telephone Support

Call us and we’ll see what we can do!… If we can’t solve your problem straight away, we can continue to support you on the telephone. Whilst sometimes not the easiest method, it’s sometimes a necessity to support you ‘blind’.. for instance if you have connectivity issues we won’t be able to remotely connect to your computer.

Remote Support

We can support you remotely for most IT issues. Whether it’s online web related work or if we need to connect to your computer to help solve an issue, we can do it remotely with the least impact on your time. We use ‘TeamViewer’ for remote access whilst talking on the phone with you –  you can see us working on your machine with either party able to control the computer.

On-site Support

In most  cases of IT support we can manage a fix through remote access, but if the problem is better dealt with on site we’ll arrange a visit. Site visits are needed for equipment installation and any infrastructure or connectivity work. All site visits are for a minimum of 2 hours.

Based in Guildford, Surrey we are here to support your IT. We support most device hardware, operating systems, software and peripheral equipment. From setting up a new email account to connecting to your router … and from support with a new program to managing edits to your website, we can help you with it all.

We have over 20 years experience in IT and be able to fix most IT hardware, software, connectivity and web issues remotely, but if you do have a deeper issue we can also visit you.
